Stainless steel ball valves can be closed tightly with a 90-degree rotation operation and very little rotational torque, and the equal valve body cavity provides the medium with very little resistance and a straight flow path. Stainless steel ball valves are usually considered suitable for direct opening and closing use, but recent developments have designed stainless steel ball valves so that they have throttling and flow control purposes. The main feature of the stainless steel ball valve is its compact structure, easy to operate and maintain, suitable for water, solvents, acids, and Tianran gas, and other general working media, but also suitable for harsh working conditions of the media, such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane, and ethylene. A stainless steel ball valve body can be integral, but can also be combined.


The stainless steel ball valve throttling range of the same pneumatic control valve. Opening the valve requires some suction gas superheat. To make the valve open larger, the power fluid must provide greater thrust to overcome the spring force. This greater pressure is generated by increasing the superheat so that the valve opens with a superheat of 7k. The valve keeps the amount of fluid in the evaporator roughly constant. If the fluid is reduced, more of the evaporating surface is exposed to superheat the refrigerant, resulting in a larger valve opening.


The evaporator pressure at the outlet of the stainless steel ball valve is from the inside of the valve body into the diaphragm below. Some refrigeration system evaporator pressure drops are quite large. Some evaporators have several parallel pathways, which require a distributor, which also increases the pressure drop. At this point, if the internal balance stainless steel ball valve is still used, the pressure of the refrigerant under the diaphragm will be higher than the actual pressure in the suction line at the temperature pack connection point. The superheat required to open the valve is higher, and the efficiency of the evaporator is then reduced. In order to avoid this situation, an external balancer can be used, which means that the refrigerant pressure at the evaporator outlet is led into the valve and acts under the diaphragm.


Stainless steel ball valve installation instructions:
1. The stainless steel ball valve should be installed in the horizontal or vertical direction of the pipeline.
2. After connecting with the pipeline and forged steel gate valve, please cross-lock the flange connecting bolts with the specified torque.
3. Remove the protective cover on both sides of the flange end and flush clean with the valve open.
4. During installation, please do not use the actuator part of the valve as a lifting point to avoid damaging the actuator and accessories.
5. Before preparing to connect to the pipeline, flush and sweep clean any remaining impurities in the pipeline (these substances may damage the valve seat and ball).
6. The pipeline near the installation point must not have low hanging or bear external force; the explosion-proof fire stop breathing valve can be used to eliminate the deviation of the pipeline by pipe support or support.
7. The whole machine should be tested according to the specified signal (electric or gas) before installation (to prevent the vibration from affecting the performance due to transportation), and it can be installed online only after passing (wiring according to the electric actuator wiring diagram).
